I arranged a version of Elmore James' blues jam, "Shake Your Money Maker", an upbeat, simple blues meant to make you feel alright! This chart features the trumpets and saxophones mostly, with a guitar solo as the main feature in the song. The backgrounds for the guitar solo are meant to really rock the party, as the intensity builds and builds as the guitarist continues to wail on his or her solo. Highest note is a high E (concert D) for trumpets. That being said, I'd still say this is an intermediately difficult tune and could be played well be a good high school group. Perfect for learning about the blues and showing off a great guitarist.
