VIOLIN 1 and VIOLIN 2 are the most challenging parts and most suited for advanced intermediate plays with notes extending up to the 3rd position. The melody alternates between the VIOLIN 1 and VIOLIN 2 parts. The VIOLA (VIOLIN 3) part is much easier with only quarter notes and all in the first position. The CELLO part is also easier than VIOLIN 1 & 2 and suitable for early intermediate players with all notes in the first position except for an F# on the C string which can be played by extending the 4th finger down.
