Sea Chantey is an original concert rondo in the style of a robust eighteenth century British sailor song. Boisterous melodies are passed between sections in a call-and-response style throughout this brisk and lighthearted piece. Best of all, Sea Chantey is designed as an etude for 6/8 time and features all of the most common rhythms and bowings of that meter in each part.
