This is the second small piece that the 10-year-old composer titled "scherzetto", nicknamed "The Runner". Like the first scherzetto, it focuses less on harmonic complexity, but more on technical dexterity. Filled with rapid scalar finger movements and glissandi, it is another suitable piece for intermediate students.
