Opus 418. Composed by Johann Strauss Jr. Arranged by Jacques Claessens. Baton Music orchestral series. Opus 418. Full score. Baton Music #BM791-SCORE. Published by Baton Music (BF.BM791-SCORE).

In 1885 Strauss composed the 'Schatz-Walzer' (Treasure Waltz). The melodies from this waltz was drawn from his operetta 'Der Zigeunerbaron'. The title of the walz was taken from the trio in act 2 of the operetta: "Ha, seht es winkt, es blinkt, es klingt" when the character Sandor Barinkay locates an ancestral treasure in his estate and shares his jubilation with the other cast. However, the beauty of the waltz lies in the first waltz theme taken from the finale aria of act 2 titled 'So voll Fröhlichkeit'.
