"Sakura Sakura" is one of the most beloved traditional Japanese folk songs. It is often sung in spring when Japanese people celebrate the arrival of spring by admiring the beauty of cherry blossoms. The Western notation shows the pitches when played with six hon choshi, but if you use the Japanese shinobue fingering notation (containing kanji), you can play this piece with any hon choshi.
