An all-time classic, this is an essential addition to any Christmas collection. Based on the Dean Martin recording, this arrangement is in the American songbook style, and suitable for Intermediate level (ABRSM grade 4-5) and upwards. There are some Jazz rhythms, swung 8ths and occasional 3rd position passages.
A string Orchestra version of this arrangement with piano and sleigh bells / glock is also available.
About the arranger
Tim Crooks trained as a violinist and violist, working professionally in Manchester (UK) for many years. He was a founding member of the Manchester String Quartet and scored many arrangements for the group's recordings. Tim now orchestrates and conducts, working with orchestras including Manchester Camerata, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia.
