The teaching material allows the student a smooth transition from the individual performance levels D2, D3 and C1 in snare drum training. You learn your craft and techniques here so that you can use them later in your music - whether in a drum corps, orchestra or rock band. The versatility of these groups and the high technical demands required an old-school reworking. I deliberately only show the 'traditional stance' on the DVD, as this is still popular, sometimes required, but rarely shown correctly. The matched-grip players transfer the technique of the right hand or arm to the left arm and hand. In this book you will learn various stroke techniques with movement sequences. Methodologically, the school is aligned with the teaching program and learning objective of the BDBV. Compulsory moves that are required in the various performance tests are learned effortlessly with continuous practice and correct application. Mastery of Up&Downstroke is a prerequisite. Place great importance on studying and learning Control Stroke and Pull Out, as described on the first pages, so that you are up to the further requirements. All the exercises in this book are fundamentally related to each other, making it easier to learn grooves. Basically, the concept of the book is to promote the talent and ability of every snare drum player and lead them to perfection. The exercises are conceptually simple and increase the fun of playing the drums.
