This is one of Mozart’s most frequently performed works with a surprising number of arrangements for various chamber ensembles. This rendition has been written for the woodwind quintet with a performance time of slightly under four minutes. The arrangement is ideally suited to the woodwind quintet, and offers the bassoonist and the French Hornist a challenging duet passage in the third phrase. The key of this arrangement is c minor and C Major concert. There is, as always with this arranger, the presence of a mischievous musical quirk lurking somewhere in the selection.
