Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Lorenzo Pusceddu. Selection: Preludio, Questa o quella, Tutto e gioia, O tu che la festa, Deh non parlare al misero, Veglia o donna, E il sol dell'anima, Caro nome, Zitti zitti. Classical, Transcription. Score and set of parts. With Text language: English, French, German and Italian. Duration 40:00.

After the success of La Traviata, Lorenzo Pusceddu presents the transcription of another of Verdi's masterpieces: Rigoletto. This edition, like the previous one, contains a selection of the most famous numbers of the opera interspersed with the voice of a narrator who describes to the audience the complete unfolding of the events. Pusceddu arranged the opera for singers and wind band, but solo instruments can also play the role of the singers. The score contains an optional male chorus (TTBB), too. Each act includes: Full score (with singers and solo instruments), single parts for the wind band, text for the narrator, alternate parts for the solo instruments, and parts for the singers: Rigoletto (baritone), Gilda (soprano), Duca (tenor), Maddalena (contralto). Maddalena's part, which appears only in Act 3, is optional, as the wind band always doubles the singer.
