This woodwind sextet transcription was commissioned and premiered by Saitama Municipal Urawa High School Wind Band in September, 2004.
This transcription is basically written for woodwind sextet (Fl., Ob., 2 Cls., Bssn., B.Cl.). But String Bass part may be substituted for Bass Clarinet or it can be played as a Woodwind-String septet, adding String Bass part. When you don't have Bass Clarinet or String Bass, cued notes in parentheses should be performed. (Keiichi Kurokawa).
