The first dream I ever remember having was the piercing, white gaze of a fox staring out at me from the darkness. I was terrified, yet strangely intrigued. Since then, dreams have inspired many of my other creative writings and ideas. As for the language, I took beginner's Norwegian my senior year of college and find it easiest to grasp a language when I am able to write in it. This piece is meant to sound similar to an old Nordic folk ballad.
