Composed by Laurence Maufroy. Ensemble License / Academic Use Method book. 72 pages. Les Productions d'OZ - Digital #DZ-2746-EX. Published by Les Productions d'OZ - Digital (ZZ.DZ-2746-EX).
[in French] This collection offers a repertoire in the form of a musical journey for the early years of guitar playing. Adaptable to various contexts, it allows for a very gradual approach to the technical basics of the guitar, developing a sense of rhythm, and initiating tonal harmony and guitar accompaniment from the outset.
The twenty-four pieces in this collection include:
a main melody (indicated on the scores by the code I) the same melody written one octave higher (I-8va) and/or one octave lower (I-8vb), which can be played alone or as a double of the main melody optionally, an optional secondary melody (Ib), usually at the third or sixth of the main melody a chord part, broken chords, arpeggios, or strumming patterns (II). In some cases, a choice is proposed (IIa, IIb). a bass part (III), played with the thumb. The different techniques used for the II parts are as follows:
small chords on three strings: arpeggios with the thumb blocked with fingers i, m, and a played with a rasgueado technique with one finger (i or m) broken chords on three strings, played with fingers i, m, and a arpeggios on three strings, played with fingers i, m, and a large chords (four to six strings): arpeggios with the thumb played with a rasgueado technique with one finger (i or m) strumming patterns (alternating between two notes played on different strings), played with fingers p and i (or m). Parts II and III form an accompaniment that can be played on the same guitar.
