Unison or two-part choir, piano - Medium

SKU: PL.0036

Composed by David Ashley White. Parish. Choral, General. Octavo. Paraclete Press #0036. Published by Paraclete Press (PL.0036).

This delightful joyous setting of this well-known text is full of the melodic phrases that make Dr. White's music so attractive. The opening melody is characterized by an octave leap which is then developed in the refrain. The second and fourth verses can be done with two voices and have a different yet equally effective melody. The work could be sung totally in unison giving the opportunity for many youth choirs to use this piece as a praise or hymn anthem throughout the church year.
