This is an intermediate brass quintet piece (2 trumpets, horn, trombone tuba). The piece features lush harmonies and a peaceful melody. It is a great piece for a quintet who is looking for something lyrical to play on a recital. It could also work for prelude music for a special church service. Oftentimes quintets play very flashy and technically impressive music. I believe this piece demonstrates some of the beautiful aspects of tone that brass instruments can produce and can highlight musicianship.
