The third movement of Ramsoe quartet No. 3: Andante con moto [Ab] 3/4 time. This is a theme and four variations. Almost waltz-like, not sleepy music at all. Arranged in 6-part quartet (parts 2 and 3 have substitute parts for F Horn). Part 4 playable on tuba or euphonium - some measures shown in octaves for greater ease. Variation 4 has some challenges, but otherwise very accessible. Great romantic style music typical of Ramsoe.
