Based on verse 1 of Psalm 5, which states "...consider my meditation" (King James version), this is a peaceful and tranquil organ meditation written in 5/4 meter. The melody is in the left hand for much of it, giving you the chance to feature a soft reed, clarinet, or oboe stop, accompanied by beautiful flutes, strings, or a combination of both. The work is dedicated to the talented Filipino organist and composer Alejandro D. Consolacion II.
