Prelude on "Jesu Dulcis Memoria" (Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee) is an organ work based on the Gregorian chant hymn tune of the same name. It is a simple but eloquent piece that church organists would fine useful throughout the Church Year, including Ordinary Time and Lent, but especially for Feasts or Solemnities of Our Lord, such as the Sacred Heart, or to be played as devotional music during Communion. This is a piece that will sound well on organs with limited stops or smaller electric organs - only flutes or strings and 16' and 8' in the pedal are all that is required to make this piece work beautifully.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
