SKU: A0.778239

Composed by Edward Elgar. Arranged by John McAllister. Classical,Contemporary,Graduation,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 47 pages. John McAllister #6700901. Published by John McAllister (A0.778239).

This is an arrangement of Elgar's famed graduation song, "Pomp and Circumstance." I've made it into three variations

Variation 1: Upper voices have melody and harmony to the melody
Variation 2: Upper voice and low brass voice on melody together
Variation 3: Alto voice on melody (i.e. horn/alto sax)

Each variation ends with a sustained chord to make it easy to end the march whenever the procession ends. Having played this tune 8 million times, I know how needed that is. You can also just skip to the ending chord if the graduates arrive early... I'd just recommend doing it on a cadence.

Can be played with:
Brass Quintet, Saxophone quintet, woodwind quintet, mixed winds ensemble, full concert band
