This is the work that Debussy intended to write for the American violinist Arthur Hartmann for a projected tour of the US that never happened. Dr. Robert Orledge found five sketches that Debussy wrote between 1910 and 1914 and was able to complete this work using those sketches. This version is the piano reduction for violin and piano. The full score and solo part are available for sale as a seperate item. The parts are on rental from the publisher.
