When recruiting guitar students for a the jazz ensemble, it is often the case that the guitarist does not read music notation well, or at all. The goal of this book is to simplify things for the jazz guitarist. By focusing on Freddie Green style, the inexperienced jazz ensemble guitarist has a window into the jazz style that will help them become a solid contributing member of a swinging rhythm section.
