It can be played by as little as 8 players with only Bb and Bass clarinets, or it can be played by a large ensemble equipped with Eb through Contrabass. Parts with the same number are interchangable, for example, part one can be played by soprano clarinet, Eb clarinet, or both. Optional notes are provided in some parts for players capable of an extended range. In keeping with the flexible performance options, there are parts that provide different levels of challenge, so players of mixed abilities can enjoy performing together. This makes this arrangment perfect for a festival or weekend event.
