This is a book of 25 favorites/"picks" of internationally acclaimed guitarist El McMeen. They are among his 150-200 guitar compositions and arrangements in the wonderful CGDGAD guitar tuning that El champions. (A chord chart is included for the benefit of ther reader.) They include uptempo toe-tappers, a march, Irish jigs, gospel tunes, and compelling melodies
This book is a sort of adjunct to his book called "The Singing Guitar." The latter book contains El's favorite melodic pieces in a variety of different guitar tunings. These two books do not overlap; they contain different pieces of music. The audio sampler for this book contains excerpts (or, in some cases, the entirety) of the following tunes:
