Composed by Adam Scott Neal. 20th Century,Contemporary,New Age. 2 scores. 17 pages. Adam Scott Neal #2856977. Published by Adam Scott Neal (A0.954287).

This work is for clarinet and fixed media (file is available from my website). Program note: Petrichor is a term coined by researchers I.J. Bear and R.G. Thomas that describes the pleasant fragrance of rain. The fragrance is actually a combination of various chemical compounds collected on rocks and soil, so the term combines the Greek words "petros" (stone) and "ichor" (the blood of the gods in Greek mythology). This piece depicts a rainy summer afternoon, beginning with a thunderstorm and followed by a more subdued rainshower.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
