Originally for harpsichord, with a famous version for violin and viola, this piece has been arranged for intermediate cellists. Much easier than the violin and viola Halverson version! Each four measure section is fairly independent - if one section is too difficult it can be omitted without affecting the overall piece.
All parts are in bass clef only. Cello 1 goes up to fourth position. Cello 2 goes up to third position. Cello 3 is in first position only. I have a separate version of this piece for mixed-level trio, where the cello 3 part is easier.
