Pass the Advent Light is a charming and flexible arrangement of a traditional canon that may be performed by both school and church choirs, either mixed or treble voice, 2-part or unison. The arranger has also incorporated references to the traditional plainchant, Veni Emmanuel (O Come, O Come, Emmanuel).The theme of this arrangement is joining together in the light of peace, hope, joy and love. Ideal for candlelight services, it is especially appropriate for Advent worship, though its message is also suitable for peace services, Christ the King, Christmas Eve, Epiphany, Lent and Transfiguration.
