"Pajarillos Sonoros," an unpublished work by the notable Baroque Novohispano composer Manuel de Sumaya for Choir SSAT and Violins. This piece, cataloged as 04-116 in the musical archive of the Cathedral of Guatemala, is a cantata for 4 voices with violins dedicated to the Virgin.
Manuel de Sumaya (c. 1678-1755) was one of the most important composers of the Baroque period in Hispanic America, known for his innovative sacred music and influence on New Spanish. His work combines European tradition with local elements, creating a unique and rich fusion. He's the author of the first operas in North America.

Full score: 26 pages Violin parts: Violin 1 and Violin 2, 8 pages Voices: Soprano 1, Soprano 2, Alto, and Tenor Unfortunately, the basso continuo part is missing, so only the violin and vocal parts have been transcribed.
