Over The Rainbow is an excellent piece to start with when rehearsing a new ensemble at the beginning of the year. It has all Violins on the same part with beautiful Cello harmony. This piece also includes plenty of opportunity for the ensemble to learn to follow the conductor with many ritardando, change of tempo interpretive sections. Over the Rainbow is also an excellent opportunity to exercise achieving dynamic changes within the rondo form.
