Madrigale a 10 voci (dialogo a 2 cori di 5 voci) di Orazio Faà, compositore cinquecentesco nativo di Casale Monferrato legato ai Gonzaga, di cui non si sa molto di più.

Il dialogo a doppio coro propone uno scambio amoroso e si conclude col consiglio a tutti gli "stolti amanti" di lasciar perder i "pensier vani e bassi del ciec'amor" per rivolger lo sguardo invece al cielo.

A 10 voices (2 5-voices choirs) madrigal by Orazio Faa, who was appreciated at Gonzaga's court in the 16th century.
The dialogue between the 2 choirs runs about love and the pains it gives and ends up suggesting all "stupid lovers" to leave it and turn their look and steps towards the sky...
