Vicki Tucker Courtney has delightfully arranged a traditional children’s carol for unison voices. A sensitive piano accompaniment allows the voices to shine, and the optional Handbell (or Handchime) part adds a transcendent quality. The piece begins with an optional solo, followed by the choir joining on Stanza 2. After a modulation, a beautiful Descant provides warmth and an ethereal quality. This would be a great opening arrangement for a Lessons and Carols service, or for anytime during the Advent and Christmas season. Part for Handbells (or Handchimes) (3 octaves) is included.
