In this arrangement for brass quintet, my goal has been to remain faithful to the original spirit of this music, by maintaining its characteristic style, harmonies and a "pass in review" marching tempo. Detailed articulation markings are provided. Each instrumental voice is allowed a variety of roles - melody, harmony, and rhythm - while maintaining each one's characteristic style within the genre. It is dedicated with gratitude to the members of our armed forces.
