Composed by Bradley Powell (The Candlelight Guitarist). Concert,Contemporary,New Age,Spiritual,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. Geofonica Artistworks #3604729. Published by Geofonica Artistworks (A0.948679).Do you love finger-style guitar by the ocean? This is a super relaxing and lyrical fingerstyle guitar duet (standard notation edition) evoking that feeling. You can hear Brad play it (both duet parts) here: https://youtu.be/W-IuHhC3xKw
NOTE: if you want it in TABS...that's coming here very soon.
Guitar 2 plays smooth 8th note arpeggios throughout (representing the "ocean ostinato")--this part is fairly easy for an intermediate player. Guitar 2 plays the melody, always lyrical--it's fairly simple at first, but later is played (optionally) in upper register, and then in split octaves (simultaneously on 1st and 6th strings)--so Guitar 2 is more "intermediate to advanced" (comfortable for a competent high school or college player)... for relaxing enjoyment and even performances. (For a less-advanced Guitar 1 player...playing the "split octave" passage as a single-line melody will still work great.)
It's composed by Bradley Powell, who records CDs as The Candlelight Guitarist. "Ocean Ostinato" is from his CD Music for Rest & Renewal (with nature sounds) [2001].
