Good book
There are some good pieces for younger musitions, but also something more difficult. I reccomend it for music school and music highschool.

A Must Have...
I love this book. It ranges from fairly simple pieces (ex. La Cinquantain) to pretty difficult ones (Mozart Sonata), but also has good intermediate songs (Telemann Concerto or Schumann Romances). I am a third year oboist (now a sophomore in high school) and I especially like how a growing oboe player, such as myself, can buy just one book and have a range of solos to match their development as a musician. Some trills and articulation markings were edited out of several songs in the book, but if you are a student you can easily ask your teacher about them. I noticed that there was one wrong note in the first movement of the Telemann Concerto, but other than that, this book is pretty perfect! I would recommend this book to any oboe player looking for a collection of beautiful- and accompanied- solos at a great price.

Oboe Solos
This is a must for EVERY oboe student. It has a variety of songs from beginner through the college level. I insist that every one of my students have a copy. And the price is unbeatable.
