Nocturnes and Dances, Op. 19a for clarinet ensemble is a four-movement work with enchanting melodies, dark sonorities, and lively rhythms. Originally commissioned by the University of Wisconsin-Superior MTNA Student Chapter, this arrangement was made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts. Movements:
I. Allegro moderato
II. Lento con gran espressione
III. Grave
IV. Allegro con brio
