On the CD, the demo tracks are played by Nobuya Sugawa; the tempo indication given by Ferling has been used, to give you an idea of how the Etudes are meant to sound. Some of the tempi are rather fast, so for a number of pieces we have provided play-along tracks that are a little slower.

What can I say? Any classically trained saxophonist will know of the Ferling etudes, and this is an excellent book containing many of the best. Pick it up when getting serious about the instrument, it's required material! The Arban of saxophones.
