This is a well known Negro Spiritual arranged for SATB chorus and piano in a latin jazz style. Much of the music is in unison or two part and the arrangment features a piano solo in the middle which can either be read or fully improvised. It also features finger clicks for the choir to peform so to add their own percussion and to feel the off beat more strongly. This is a fresh new approach to a traditional song that has becoming loved by choristers and audiences alike.
