A mysterious, lyrical retelling of the Magi's visit to the Christ child, composed by Nancy Gifford. This unison/two-part anthem can be successfully sung by an early-intermediate treble choir or a mixed choir. Helpful performance suggestions are included for mixed ensembles (SATB or SAB). The lush piano accompaniment sets a haunting tone, punctuated by finger cymbals. "Noble Magi" would be ideal for Christmas pageants or concerts and could also be sung at the Feast of the Epiphany/Epiphany of Our Lord.
