"Hey, Notes!" Chapter 3 focuses on eighth-note and sixteenth-note rhythm, dotted notes, accidentals, keys, scales, triads, and intervals. Additionally, it includes more dynamic signs and offers a quick review of the performance directions introduced in the previous chapter.
Each book jumps from topic to topic, slowly increasing the information as it progresses. However, you could skip around and look at any pages relevant to your lesson or use this digital workbook as a revision before progressing to the next grade.
Suitable for music beginners as young as 3 (with the help of a teacher) to older kids around 9 or 10. Although it is written with the piano lessons in mind, it could also be used in any music class setting. Once you complete all three chapters, you are ready for most grade-one theory exams (if you want to test your knowledge with an exam).
