These motets, quite short and presenting few difficulties, are an excellent introduction to the French vocal repertory of the second half of the 17th century. Preface by: Philippe Lescat: Lebegue's works. Jean Saint-Arroman: bibliography of the motets - comparison of the sources. Motet for 2 soprano voices and continuo: O crux ave (page 11). All the other motets are for 1 soprano voice and continuo.
