This facsimile of an original by Guillaume-Gabriel Nivers is part of our French classical music collection. Edition : Paris, l'Auteur, 1689. The version rewritten by Clerambault in 1733 has been added. Music at Saint-Cyr and Nivers' ornamentation are described in the preface. All the motets are for 1 soprano and continuo , with the exception of the 3 elevations for two sopranos and continuo. In the motets with choir, the latter is of unisson sopranos.
