Morning Prelude for Two Cellos and Piano is an arrangement of an original piece I composed that is included in my first cello and piano book Folk and Beyond, published by Kevin Mayhew.
This piece was inspired by my baby twin grandsons , who looked so vulnerable the first few days after they were born. I wanted to reassure them that the world was a good place. The opening section is very tentative and has natural harmonics in the cello parts. The second section has a calm, flowing tune.
Individual parts and score are included. Please note, the You Tube and MP3 recordings are of the original cello and piano version, which is included in Folk and Beyond.
