Pentatonix baritone singer Scott Hoying, who shares the lead with tenor Mitch Grassi on the track, explains the song's meaning: "Some of us have significant others and we wanted to write a song about like how we can’t always be with them 'cos we're always on the road but: 'We're not misbehavin' tonight…"
