The 120 Melodious Etudes For Trombone from the Vocalises of Marco Bordogni selected and transcribed by Joannés Rochut in three books have been used by countless trombonists since their publication almost a century ago in 1928. Their value has been written about by many of the greatest artists on the instrument and their adaptability has inspired arrangers to create duets, trios, quartets and other chamber works to “spread the word” and provide more than one avenue for practice and performance.
