Published by Ted Stanley (A0.923984).This is the beautiful "Meditation" for violin from Massenet's opera, Thaïs, arranged with guitar accompaniment. The violin part has not been altered, and many violinists might prefer to play from parts they have in their personal libraries. The guitar part is straight-forward and perhaps not as difficult as some other arrangements, using standard tuning (rather than the tempting scordatura for pieces in D), and staying in the lower positions where possible. Chord symbols have been added for reference, and perhaps make the piece accessible to guitarists who don't read standard musical notation.
