Mars, the Bringer of War is the first piece in Holst's famous orchestral work The Planets Suite, composed between 1914 and 1916. This powerful and dramatic piece is often associated with war and destruction, with its pounding rhythms and intense melodies creating a sense of tension and chaos. Over the years, Mars has influenced many film soundtracks such as The Star Wars and remains one of his most famous and exciting compositions. This is a symphonic band version arranged by Carson Yu.
