Woodwind Ensemble Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.553149

Composed by Edward MacDowell. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Baroque,Holiday,Romantic Period,Wedding. 21 pages. RayThompsonMusic #2023231. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553149).

Written by J S Bach and arranged for piano by Edward MacDowell.

MacDowell took some of Bach's well known pieces from the Anna Magdalena Notebook and added subtle changes in the harmonies.

I have transcribed three of them for wind quintet.

They are 2 Minuets in G and a Marche in D. (One of the minuets in G is probably one of Bach's best known works)

MacDowell’s most famous piece of music "To a Wild Rose" is also available, arranged for wind quintet, as one of his 10 Woodland Sketches Op.51
