This is a counterpoint for string and choir. I think this is my fourth iteration based on the theme introduced at the very beginning of the piece but completely re-written. The title "Lux Tenebris" conveys a poetic or spiritual idea of hope, enlightenment, or revelation emerging from dark times. It’s often used in philosophical, religious, or artistic contexts to suggest triumph over adversity, inner illumination, or the emergence of truth from obscurity.
