My arrangement of the awesome song performed by Bill Withers and Skip Scarborough for school band/function band/pro band. The arrangement utilises the instruments available at my school which is the reason for a Saxophone Horn section but can be arranged for individual needs that suit the song. We performed this on Tours and events and gives the Saxes a chance to shine with my original solos and an alternative part for a 4th Alto Sax. We recorded the horns and vocals for a recent remote video recording and it worked really well. Written out Rhythm section parts for those that find it difficult to read chords or improvise/comp. Band Line up: Lead Vox, Alto Saxes x3, Tenor Saxes x 2 (Alternative Alto 4), Bari Sax, Micro Korg Keys - Electric Piano, Keys - Piano, Nord - Strings, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Tambourine, Shaker Excerpt from bar 58 and full version can be heard on the You Tube channel: Musiscorz.
