The works in this series have a simple instrumentation, which makes them quite well suitable for smaller wind bands. This one is a trumpet duo with band accompaniment, based on the famous Lorelei Song (music by F.Silcher, lyrics by Heinrich Heine). Both soloists should be placed at a certain distance from the band.
