This is a reduction of the Prelude to Act 3 and Bridal Chorus of Wagner's Lohengrin from triple winds to double winds: "3333 - 4331 - 4perc, harp - str" to "2222 - 4231 - 3perc, harp - str" (3rd trumpet optional).Â
The horn and trumpet parts are transposed throughout (horn in F and trumpets in B flat), and an alternate ending is provided for just the the Prelude to Act 3 (making it possible to perform the set without the Bridal Chorus needing a choir). The Bridal Choir has the stage band integrated into the orchestra. Vocal parts are not included.
